Functional Range-of-Motion

The Kinetisense Range of Motion system will allow you to analyze over 40 joint ROMs of the body in Real-Time.  The system repeatedly captures the same anatomic landmarks for every assessment and measures joint range-of-motion in real-time. Because the system analyzes joint mobility in real-time this allows for Kinetisense to be used in a variety of training applications.  Set-up the system anywhere in your training facility and give biofeedback to the prescribed joint ROM that you would like the client to move in.  Assess flexibility of the client, checking for asymmetries in joint ROM from left to right.

The Posture of Lifting

Many movement specialists agree that the analysis of static posture is a key component of the overall functional analysis evaluation of the client.  Static posture gives insight into the underlying compensation patterns that will directly affect functional movement.  There has never been a product that could analyze posture in Real-Time without the use of wearable sensors, until now.

The Transverse Plane, in Real-Time

Unfortunately, many current movement screens require “eyeballing” movement.  It is quite apparent how this lacks objectivity, especially when being assessed by different practitioners.  Eyeballing movement has other limitations as well, we are limited in our assessment as to what we are able to see.  An example of this is the assessment of the overhead squat, we can visually see changes in the frontal plane and sagittal plane with a well trained eye, subjectively of course.  However, unless we are able to stand above our patient and have a “birds eye” view it is nearly impossible to properly assess the transverse plane.  The transverse plane is one of the most important as many compensations in movement occur in this plane.
